This combination of ink cartridges were advertised as compatible with a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 series. Including 2 black and 1 each of the three base colors. Normally, even the refilling of the specified HP cartridges for continued use could be problematic. No problem with the “generic” replacement cartridges. One acknowledgement on my part, when the printer indicated that these were not HP cartridges and we were good to go. The ink quality is good for small office printing needs. If the color printing is equally good, I will be very pleased. I will supply a further report following a series of color printing.
The cost for the 5 cartridge package was under the cost for 1 color cartridge of HP ink. This was very good. It is in keeping with my budget, as I am a retiree.
