Option 1

With the printer powered on, unplug the power cord and wait 60 seconds. Reconnect the cable and turn the printer back on.

Option 2

The HP 60 ink cartridge might not be installed properly, or the yellow strip might not be completely removed. You will need to depose the ink cartridge, verify that the pink tape has been removed, and then reinsert the HP 60 printer ink cartridge until it paws into place.

Option 3

Carefully wipe the connectors on the 60 XL cartridge and slide it with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove all the dust or debris that has accumulated during use. Put the ink cartridges back again and continue printing.
